چکیده
Aim- Background-Trauma to the oral region occurs frequently and comprise 5% of all injuries. Among facial injuries, dental injuries are most common which avulsions occur in 1–16% cases. Avulsion is defined as total displacement tooth out its socket. An avulsed can usually be retained by replantation; however, prognosis depends on extraoralduration, condition tooth, patient’s age root development. In many cases, a replanted survives only matter years, during this period it serves natural space maintainer whilst growth occurs, also enables alveolar height preserved. Case Description- This case report describes delayed replantation an maxillary central incisor eleven year old child after trauma.

Case Report: Delayed Replantation of Avulsed Tooth
This is a case of delayed replantation of avulsed maxillary central incisor after an extended dry extra-alveolar period. A 10-year-old boy presented with avulsed maxillary central incisor after a fall that resulted in dental trauma, occurring 18 hours earlier. Treatment guidelines for avulsed mature permanent teeth with prolonged extraoral time were carried out for the teeth and the extraoral e...

After evaluating seventy-one replanted teeth, Kemp et al. concluded that treatment of avulsed teeth by replantation is justified, despite the fact that it is usually not a permanent procedu...
